SCBIO’s annual conference announces new speakers for two-day event in mid-February
Two additional speakers have joined the lineup of SCBIO’s “2021 Life Sciences Conference” that will be held online February 16 and 17.
Jamie Harper is a Microsoft Vice President who leads the corporation’s higher education and K-12 initiatives, while Bill Stadtlander is commercial leader of Verily, a Google subsidiary focused on life sciences and use of health data and artificial intelligence to improve lives.
The conference, titled “The Power of Us,” also features Michelle McMurry-Heath, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization.
Other event speakers include Harris Pastides, former President of the University of South Carolina and outgoing chair of the S.C. Institute of Medicine and Public Health; Courtney Christian, Senior Director of Policy and Research at PhRMA; Pat Cawley, CEO of MUSC Health; and Marjorie Jenkins, Dean of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
