U of Arkansas holding five different entrepreneurial series this semester
The University of Arkansas’ Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation has announced a five virtual workshop series for students who are interested in the innovation process or who have ideas for new products, services, and businesses.
According to this flyer, a total of 21 workshops are scheduled in one of five tracks:
- Pitch Camp which is a three-part series that will break down the elements of language and storytelling to demonstrate the role they play in persuasion;
- CORE Series, a four-part series with both fast track and standard options, that will explore the foundational skills of innovation, drawing on human-centered design and lean startup methods;
- Launch Lab Series that is designed for students who have an idea for a product or service and want to explore how to bring it to the market;
- New Venture Series that will cover everything from choosing a structure to understanding how to measure return on investment in terms of both profit and impact; and
- Flying Solo Series that is focused on solopreneurs who are interested in building businesses with a single employee – themselves.
