Knoxville Chamber launches survey to determine skills needs of employers
The Knoxville Chamber has launched a talent assessment survey to determine the skills employers currently require as well as those they expect to need to drive future growth. Information gathered through the survey, open until October 22 at this link, will inform the creation of a regional workforce development strategy, implemented in collaboration with area education providers and key, community stakeholders.
“We recognize that helping our region develop a skilled labor pool that is prepared for current employer needs, as well as for the roles they expect to need in the future, is critical to achieve our mission of driving regional economic prosperity,” said Lauren Longmire, Director of Regional Enhancement at the Chamber. “This survey will yield valuable, qualitative data that policy makers and service providers can use as they evaluate or develop training opportunities.”
