Well, the University of Arkansas is going to find out, thanks to a $194.7 million commitment from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation. The funding will allow a new research institute named I3R to be become a reality.
It is envisioned as a unique approach to research that will distinguish the university by creating a flexible, state-of-the-art collaborative framework designed to facilitate the integration of research across five overlapping clusters of innovation.
