Launch Tennessee soliciting proposals for two new Mentor Network partners
Launch Tennessee announced yesterday that it is seeking proposals to expand the Mentor Network that it supports beyond the existing two – life science sector operated by Life Science Tennessee and energy operated by the Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council.
Plans are to double the number of programs by adding lead organizations focused on the automotive and agriculture sectors. According to yesterday’s announcement, “applicants should be a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)6) nonprofit organization and may include industry associations, universities/research institutions, and service organizations. Applicants should be based in Tennessee and have unique experience in the agriculture or automotive sector in addition to a deep understanding of the greater Tennessee entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
Applications are due at the end of the month. More details can be found here.
