UT CIS offers services to help manufacturers impacted by COVID-19
The University of Tennessee’s Center for Industrial Services (UT CIS) has announced two opportunities for manufacturers.
- The organization’s Health, Safety and Emergency Preparedness team is available to provide virtual consultations to discuss strategies and plans for creating implementing customized COVID-19 preparedness plans at no cost. Those interested in learning more should contact UT CIS Safety and Preparedness Manager Walter Idol or Occupational Safety and Health Act Consultant Bryan Lane. Click here for more information.
- UT CIS also expects to receive limited funding soon under the “Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act,” better known as CARES. With the funding, will be able to help a limited number of manufacturers in areas such as back-to-work safety planning, supply chain risk mitigation, workforce systems, and process improvement.
