Dwaine Raper named Director of UT’s Manufacturing Extension Program
Dwaine Raper has been promoted to the position of Director of Manufacturing Extension at the University of Tennessee’s Center for Industrial Services (CIS). The 15-year veteran of manufacturing operations and supply chain management experience in the automotive and electronics industries joined the Center in 2007 and assumed his new role October 1.
Prior to his latest promotion, Raper had served CIS as a Solutions Consultant, Solutions Consultant Manager and Regional Manager of the Manufacturing Extension Program. Raper holds two business degrees from East Tennessee State University and also maintains supply chain management related professional certifications including Certified Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), both from APICS – The Association for Operations Management.
