Brown University’s B-Lab offers dedicated space for new student ventures
Brown University’s B-Lab program, officially known as the Breakthrough-Lab, helps student entrepreneurs more fully vet their ideas during an eight-week, full-time summer experience. The program connects students to sector-specific mentors and provides a $4,000 stipend to cover living costs for the summer in Providence.
In its fifth iteration, B-Lab for the first time was able to provide the 14 ventures dedicated space, thanks to its move into Brown’s new Jonathan M. Nelson Center For Entrepreneurship. Projects this past summer ranged from medicine and education to food and sustainability. Learn more about it here.
