Ohio’s Third Frontier Program apparently is running out of money
In a recent presentation to an angel group, Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted said the state’s Third Frontier Program is running out of money, with only about $180 million left. As many people know, the fund has been credited with providing significant funding to accelerate research and entrepreneurship in the state. Exactly what is planned for the program that shells out millions each year is unclear although, according to this article, Husted did hint that the administration is working on what a next phase could look like.
