International healthcare conference starting today in Knoxville
The “Big Data Working Group” of the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) is co-sponsoring a session on Friday morning during the second day of the fourth annual “International Conference for Systems and Complexity Sciences for Health: Networks for Local and Global Health Improvement.”
“ETEC’s ‘Big Data Analytics Working Group’ is delighted to co-sponsor a session on transforming health care using big data analytics,” Bonnie Carroll, Co-Chair of the group, said. “Bruce Ramshaw (Founder and Chief Medical Officer of CQ Insights) has assembled a group of future thinking health professionals and researchers who are passionate about improving health outcomes and transforming a system that is in desperate need of re-engineering. We are fortunate to have creative capabilities in the region addressing important challenges with data.”
Eric Abelquist, ETECs Chair-elect, will moderate the session. The conference begins this morning at the University of Tennessee Conference Center.
