Applications for “CodeStock Academy” now being accepted

Knoxville’s fourth annual event designed to inspire, educate, and connect students in grades six through 12 to the world of computer science is set for April 12 and 13.

Titled CodeStock Academy, the event is held in conjunction with the CodeStock, the city’s annual technology and information exchange that draws 1,000 to the community. The 2019 edition of the Academy will kick-off with the annual CodeTN competition at 7 p.m. April 12 at the Knoxville Convention Center and continue with programming throughout the next day.

Candace Mitchell, a “Forbes 30 Under 30” award winner and the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Ascend, will serve as keynote speaker.
