Doug Speight takes on new role with American Underground-Big Top merger
Many Knoxvillians and Oak Ridgers remember Doug Speight who was a colleague of mine at Oak Ridge National Laboratrory. WRAL TechWire reports that American Underground (AU), the Durham-based start-up and entrepreneurial hub that Speight led, is merging with Big Top, a Triangle-based networking platform and events series for start-ups.
