More than half of $3 billion invested in VR and AR in 2017 went to just four start-ups
Start-ups working with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies raised more than $3 billion in venture funding in 2017, according to a report from Digi-Capital. As this article from TechCrunch notes, the data are somewhat deceiving since more than one-half of the investments were made in just four firms.
