Deloitte issues annual list of 500 fast growing tech companies
Deloitte recently released its “2016 Technology Fast 500” annual ranking of the fastest growing companies in North America in five sectors: technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy. The rankings are based on the percentage of revenue growth over the previous year. Five of our neighboring states had at least one company in the list of 500. Virginia had the most at 18, Alabama the least at one. South Carolina had three, North Carolina six, and Georgia 12 by my count. Where was Tennessee? I reviewed the list twice and did not find a Tennessee company.
