In his annual “State of Entrepreneurship” address, the Kauffman Foundation’s President and Chief Executive Officer identified three areas of importance:

• New pathways for immigrant entrepreneurs;
• Appropriate rules from the Securities and Exchange Commission that enable, not hamper crowdfunding; and
• An emphasis on developing human capital for the entrepreneurial economy.
